For active wasps or anything in a living space, call — that is an attendance, not an appointment. For everything else an inspection is booked at the first opening and you get a straight answer whether or not you hire us.

What to have ready
- What you have actually seen, and where in the building you saw it.
- When it started, and whether it is worse at a particular time of day.
- Roughly when the building was built, and whether it has had additions.
- Whether the property is lived in year-round, seasonal, or a short-term rental.
- Photographs — of the insect or the droppings, and of the outside of the wall or roof where you think it is getting in.

- There is an active wasp or hornet nest anywhere people are walking past it.
- Someone in the household has a known sting allergy.
- A bat has been in a room with a sleeping person, a child, or a pet — do not release it, contain it and call your public health unit.
- There is an animal trapped in a wall, a chimney or a ceiling.
- You have found what you believe are bed bugs and you have guests or tenants arriving.
