Where we work, and what drives the pressure there
This is not a list of places we will drive to. What gets into a chalet on the escarpment is not what gets into a cottage on the sand at Wasaga, and the buildings fail in different places.
Each page below sets out what we actually find in that community — what is behind the houses, how long the buildings stand empty, and which season brings the calls.

Collingwood
Two towns in one: a heritage core with a century of accumulated gaps in it, and new subdivisions pushing into what was farmland last decade.

The Blue Mountains
Escarpment country: the strongest bat pressure in our area, complex chalet rooflines, and accommodation that receives a different party every few days all season.

Wasaga Beach
Sand changes what nests here, and a town that triples in summer changes when everything happens. Peak wasp aggression and peak occupancy land in the same fortnight.

Thornbury
Village housing on the edge of apple country. The orchards behind the town set the pest calendar more than the town does.

Stayner
Housing with working farmland directly behind it. The autumn rodent move indoors is heavier here than anywhere else in our area, and it happens on a schedule.

Creemore & Clearview
Properly rural: century farmhouses, deep lots, working barns and a good deal of wooded escarpment edge. Wildlife work dominates here more than insects.

Meaford
The western edge of our area. Apple country inland, seasonal shoreline property on the bay, and an established local operator we are not pretending does not exist.
